How we work with you

You should not have to navigate Japan alone.

Some parts of your journey are handled directly by Ready Group Japan. Others require independent professionals or specialist providers. Our role is to help you understand what is needed, identify the right support, and coordinate the moving pieces around your objectives.

We call this our Japan Gateway approach: one trusted relationship helping you navigate the people, services and decisions that may sit around your property journey.

We do not ask clients to fit into a preset service package. Our role can expand or contract around your needs — from a single introduction to a more involved coordinating relationship.

Three ways support is delivered

Clear about what we do, and what others do.

Included in the agreed engagement

Work performed directly by Ready Group Japan within the agreed scope of the relevant client engagement.

Coordinated specialist

Work performed by an independent professional or specialist. We may help identify an appropriate provider, make an introduction, explain how they fit into the wider process, and help coordinate timing and information flow.

Additional support

Services outside the core purchase engagement, which may be available through a separate Ready Group Japan engagement and/or through an appropriate service provider.

Third-party providers remain responsible for their own services, advice and fees. Legal, judicial scrivener, tax, accounting, immigration, medical, financial, insurance and technical inspection work is carried out by appropriately qualified professionals — Ready Group Japan does not provide regulated advice in those fields.

Level of involvement

Support can be light-touch or more involved.

Right support. Right level of involvement. Some clients need a single introduction or piece of guidance. Others want us to stay involved across several stages. We tailor the level of support to the situation.

Introduction & guidance

For some clients, a focused introduction or piece of guidance is all that is needed.

Advisory & coordination

For clients who want more support, we can stay involved around key decisions and moving pieces.

Ongoing support

Where ongoing help is useful, a separate continuing scope can be agreed.

Owner representation

For more involved projects, we may agree a broader owner-representation role while specialist professionals remain responsible for their own work.

These are illustrations, not fixed packages or pricing tiers. The actual scope is agreed around what the client needs.

Development projects may require a more active owner-side role. See Development & Owner Representation.

Fair & transparent

Clear about who is doing the work — and how it is paid for.

Our aim is to charge fairly when Ready Group Japan provides meaningful work, and to be transparent about who is providing each service and how it is engaged.

Depending on the situation, the arrangement may involve:

  • Work included within an agreed Ready Group Japan engagement
  • A separate Ready Group Japan service or project fee
  • An ongoing service arrangement
  • A direct third-party engagement
  • A disclosed referral or coordination arrangement, where appropriate
  • Simple introductions, where no additional Ready Group Japan fee applies

Revenue should follow real value provided — not simply the existence of an introduction. Scope should follow the client's need — not a preset package. The level of involvement and any separate fees are agreed before the work begins.

Trusted coordination

One relationship. The right support around it.

Buying, owning, investing in or living in Japan can involve several separate professionals and service providers. Our role is to help you understand how those pieces fit together and, where appropriate, help coordinate them — so you are not working out who you need, in Japanese, on your own. Sometimes that means making the right introduction. Sometimes it means staying alongside you through several stages. The right level of involvement depends on the objective and the complexity of the journey.
